Excellent stay
My room was on the ground floor overlooking the lake at the back of the hotel. It was spotlessly clean and fresh. There was no significant noise from either inside or outside the hotel during my stay, it was very quiet indeed - I'm a light sleeper so noise does disturb me. The room was also just the right temperature - I can't sleep in hot rooms - and the bed was comfortable with bedding not too heavy but still warm enough. There is a heater in the room which you can adjust yourself but I was quite happy with the standard setting. There is no aircon which I actually found a bonus, as often I find it noisy and a nuisance. I got a good nights sleep.
The location is good if you are travelling with a pet as the lake has a walk alongside which can be reached in a couple of minutes from the hotel. The hotel is in a quiet area on the edge of a trading estate on the edge of town but it felt quite safe and I was happy to walk the dog after dark. You can walk on to the shoreline as well if you want to go further. There is an Asda over the road and a Costa and Domino's right outside the hotel. I found a nice fish and chip shop in the residential area about a 15 minute walk away.
It was absolutely perfect for what I needed and I would have no hesitation at all in staying here again if I needed accommodation again in Barrow. The staff were friendly and it had everything I needed.

Fantastic Travelodge Experience
My room was number 115 the view of the lake and birds was fantastic.
The room was very clean & tidy and the room temperature was perfect.
Bathroom very clean and offers free soap & shampoo.
Television has the relevant tv channels.
WiFi was good a strong signal
Tea & coffee was in the room with extras if needed absolutely free at the reception desk.
I had the perfect sleep the bed was amazing.
Overall my visit was fantastic 10/10.
