Blissful stay at Takdah
We were greeted warmly during our entry at the homestay and throughout our stay everyone at the homestay made us feel at home. The day we returned Mr. Khagendra plucked guavas from the tree in the courtyard and gave to us for having it on our way to station.
The highlight of the homestay is the food cooked by Mrs. Promila. She is a great cook. All the foods cooked by her were absolutely delicious and she made sure we were well fed just like a mother. We had taken a three course meal package including morning tea and evening snacks.
The homestay has a great view of the Rangli Rangliot Tea estate which can be visited on foot by a small trek trail. Mr. Khagendra suggested this route to us which we really enjoyed.
The room we stayed was quite big with a separate dressing room. All basic amenities were available including geyser, TV, Wifi. The homestay premise and room were very neat and clean. There is no tea kettle in the room as it is prepared specially by the cook and one can enjoy the serene atmosphere while having tea every morning and evening in the balcony outside the room.
The homestay also has two friendly dogs - "Black" and "Brown". Anyone especially kids will enjoy their company.
I will surely visit Takdah Heritage Bungalow 10 again.
